The bowlers especially Ashwin and Kuldeep Sen played an important role in the victory of Rajasthan Royals. Ashwin took 3 for 17 in 4 overs while Kuldeep Sen took 4 for 20 in 3.3 overs. Apart from this, famous Krishna also bowled excellently, taking 2 wickets for 23 runs in 4 overs.

Batting first after losing the toss, Rajasthan Royals scored 144 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 8 wickets. Riyan Parag played an innings of 56 not out for Rajasthan. For Bangalore, Wanindu Hasranga, Josh Hazlewood and Mohammad Siraj took 2-2 wickets while Harshal Patel got 1 wicket.
