new Delhi: In the 14th match of IPL 2022, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) defeated Mumbai Indians (MI) by 5 wickets. This was Mumbai’s third consecutive defeat this season. Mumbai Indians (MI) suffered another setback with the defeat when the team’s key player Jasprit Bumrah was also reprimanded for violating the IPL Code of Conduct. KKR’s Nitish Rana was also fined 10% of the match fee for violating the code of conduct.

Bumrah reprimanded
Jasprit Bumrah was found guilty of breaching Level 1 of the IPL Code of Conduct in the match against Kolkata Knight Riders in Pune. Bumrah accepted his crime. They were let off with a reprimand.
Rana’s 10% fee deducted
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) during the Mumbai Indians (MI) match, Kolkata player Nitish Rana was also found guilty of breaching Level 1 of the code of conduct and he was fined 10% of the match fee.

Kolkata beat Mumbai Indians by 5 wickets by scoring 162 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 16 overs with Pat Cummins’ 56 off 15 balls. Pat Cummins equals Lokesh Rahul’s record for the fastest fifty in IPL history. Lokesh Rahul scored a half-century in 14 balls against Delhi in 2018.
